Business

My name is Daniel Rodich, and I’m a 28-year-old software engineer from Germany. I’ve been building software professionally for nearly 9 years, most of that time spent freelancing for companies in the US and Australia, or building open-source software.
I’m currently building Oras, a Mac-native time-tracking app for freelancers.

While building Oras, I discovered my passion for creating educational content, which is why I’m currently building a masterclass on web development.

Several years ago, when learning about native mobile development, I discovered the world of blogging, which has since become one of my favorite ways to connect with the community.

Personal

Apart from building software and spending time with my friends, my oldest hobby and biggest passion to this day is video games.
I’ve analyzed several of my favorite games and childhood memories over on my blog.

While creating software is still among my favorite activities, I’ve developed an interest in a variety of fields over the years, ranging from UI/UX design and video production to photo editing.
